Not to belabor my love of summer and all the amazing seasonal fresh food, but I’m a gal who likes a good deal. Right now in-season fruits and vegetables are a fraction of the cost in Colorado than during any other time of the year. I’ve been meaning to share my most recent seasonal fruit-flecked recipe for more than a week, but I’ve been at a legislative conference in the Rockies and haven’t had much time for computing. Hopefully, plums are still at rock-bottom prices at your local grocery store or farmer’s market.
